Is that a huge ceiba? Did you know that a theory was floated around that Marvel's Groot was nothing more than a mutant ceiba? Seriously, that theory is in Wikipedia's article on Groot, I'm not kidding! I have found no theory regarding Pokémon Trevenant's origin, though.
I must say is a very interesting idea if that help to protect such majestic plants... ♡
